On December 6, 2009, members of the Brookhaven Fire Department were delivered a new forcable entry training door by Firehouse Innovations.  Giving an in-depth orientation was inventor and FDNY firefighter Mike Perrone.  The training door allows firefighters to easily simulate forcing entry into a residence or commerical structure along with using strategic techniques and manuevers.  The door has taken a pounding since put into service and has taught our members important skills to use on the fireground.
